What is the condition of your heart? Has your
heart been changed by the anointing of the Holy Spirit? For unless your heart
has been circumcised by the power of the Spirit it is hard, unyielding and
seeks only after its own. An unchanged heart participates in man's form of religious
observance that is filled with merely tradition and rote.
A changed heart is one that seeks after the
things of the Lord in all of life's daily matters. A heart that longs to be
touched by the heart of God - that desires His nearness. A heart that seeks to
live a life of devotion and honor to the One who not only created you but loves
you with an everlasting love.
Isaiah
29.13 Then the Lord said, "Because this people draw near with their
words And honor Me with their lip service, But
they remove their hearts far from Me, And their reverence for Me consists
of tradition learned by rote….
