How have our finite
minds dealt with an infinite God?
How have our
experiences and teaching built our 'picture/caricature' of who God is? And how
much of our 'picture' is truly based upon His revelation of Himself to His
creation through His Word?
How well do we know and
understand His revealed attributes - who He is? And how He has chosen to reveal
Himself to His creation? Dwelling upon His revelation (His word) and allowing
the Holy Spirit to lead us unto all of His truth is where we need to be.
The mind of the
creation's ability to totally comprehend an un-comprehendible Creator generates
friction with man's desire to know and understand all things - especially in
regard to the miraculous mysteries of creation, life and eternity!
And yet this infinite
God calls out to His children longingly and lovingly saying "know Me
better"…
