None of me…and ALL of You

We like to make ourselves in our own image. We are, in this flesh of ours,
totally unable to be righteous, our sin nature rules so strongly and our hearts
are exceedingly wicked. In our flesh there is always our agenda that is behind
the scenes, pushing for its own way.

As believers, the old man has died but we just can't leave him in the grave. Our
agenda constantly seems to 'sneak' back into the forefront of our lives. In the
world which we live today it is very easy to 'reenter' into the world's ways
(power of the flesh) each day, getting caught up in all of the stuff of this
life - the struggles, the problems, the concerns, the wants, the earthly kingdom
building of man. Yet we have become new creations, not of this world, and we are
to walk in this new life - life in the Son.

So, to that end, might we really become radical in our walk of faith and push
the envelope that says there should be 'less of me more of You' and move to the
place where we say 'none of me and ALL of You, Lord Jesus'. A total surrender of
our lives to Him for His purpose, for His glory and for His honor - a complete
and total sacrifice of praise to Him who is worthy. A bond servant who wholly
trusts in his Savior. Radically saved, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit
to share His grace and truth with this lost world.
