today...

I can't change what happened yesterday,

I don't know what tomorrow will bring,

But today I can be thankful and bring a blessing...

His mercies are new every morning…great is His faithfulness.

The darkness of deceit...

 The darkness of deceit falls heavily upon the land of the living invading the minds and souls of man. For their sin nature enjoins them to the darkness and they become comfortable with the absence of light. The darkness brings decay and destruction to the human condition and their senses become entwined with the lies and truth becomes hidden. For truth brings light and the darkness fights aggressively against the light for it knows that it will be undone when truth is revealed. Let us be bold and shine the Light of Truth in the land of the living…and the Light shall overcome the darkness.

John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

Who am I?

one that has been…

saved by His amazing grace

overwhelmed by His loving-kindness

established in faith 

restored by hope

redeemed through His mercy 

overcome by His Power and Glory

renewed by the Light of life

equipped with His Truth

empowered by His Spirit

I am because He is…

Thank You Lord Jesus!

hope in the Lord God Almighty...

As we enter 2016, 

O America, hope in the Lord…for that is where restoration and redemption and transformation and hope and joy and peace and loving-kindness shall emanate…man and his foolish ways continue to fail us and provide no respite…but the Lord God Almighty shall fail us not!

O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving-kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.  Psalm 130.7  

as we begin a new calendar year...

For such a time as this:

May the LORD  bless you, and keep you;

May the LORD  make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;

May the LORD  lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.

(Numbers 6:24-26)
